Collections Wallcovering
TRAVERSÉE
For the first time Casamance uses wood at the heart of a collection. Rare woods, worked to achieve absolute refinement using sophisticated marquetry techniques. Marquetry, laser engraving, embroidery or weaving…the creation processes are as rich as they are varied. Woods are sometimes paired with other natural materials throughout this collection inspired by transatlantic crossings. These luxurious cruise liners that captivated the world in the 1930s continue to inspire today, with the geometry and Art Deco patterns of the collection. In a range of deep contemporary shades, it is a lifestyle that is represented on your walls.
Great luxury is often found behind natural simplicity. Hand-woven on wooden looms using abaca and cotton fibres, “Abaca” has a textured surface that changes with the light. The colour variations, density of the weave and its irregularity come from the abaca fibres which vary with the seasons and the place of harvest, making each metre unique and exceptional. It coordinates with the “Majesté” design and comes in two version: beige sable, et noir de lune on a metallic base.
